Rory Clarke

Hello, I’m Rory Clarke, actor, writer, and director with roots in Jamaica, New York City, and Misawa, Japan. As a proud member of Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA), I’ve dedicated my career to bringing powerful stories on screen and behind the camera through my company RAC 23.

I’m the creator of "Blood Tax," an independent short film that is currently in the festival circuit. I extensively researched the life of Henry Johnson, reviewing historical documents and collaborating with local historians in Albany and neighboring organizations to create this film.

I trained at the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where I was one of only three American actors to graduate from this prestigious program in 2020. I’ve had the privilege of working on major productions, including "Godfather of Harlem," and "Wu-Tang: An American Saga." You can view my filmography here.

Fun fact: I’m also honored to be part of history as a model for the Harlem Hellfighters in the WWI Memorial displayed in Pershing Park, Washington, D.C.

Through RAC 23, I aim to showcase my work, connect with fellow creatives, and bring compelling stories to audiences worldwide.
